Measuring the size of Rings and Other Jewelry

This is very simple, as the ring size we use is actually the circumference of the finger in mm.

Other dimensions are also used, such as: the inner diameter of the ring, as well as other units of measurement, which you can calculate using the table below. However, we always use the inner circumference size definition in mm.
If you have a ring that fits on that finger you want to order a ring for and you know the size according of another size definition, you can convert it to the size we use using the table below.

If you are unsure of your ring size when ordering, we recommend that you download the ring sizer using the button below, print it out and cut it as described. You will be able to determine your size fairly accurately and probably won't need to replace itt o another size.

You can also use a strip of paper to measure!
Cut a strip of any thin paper and wrap it around your finger. Make a mark with a pen or pencil where the strip of paper meets so that the line is clearly visible on both sides of the opposite sides where the strip of paper meets. Spread out the strip and measure the distance between the two lines with a ruler. It is important that you measure accurately, but if you do not measure accurately and the size is not right, we will of course replace the jewelry with another size.

Determining bracelet size:

Length in mm of the inner circumference of the bracelet (i.e. that which is in contact with your wrist).
Tip: If you don't know your size, measure the circumference of your wrist with a tape measure. If you don't have one, you can cut a strip of paper and wrap it around your wrist, mark the meeting point with a pen, then spread it out and measure the length with a ruler. It is recommended that you choose a bracelet at least 5 mm longer than the size you get, but preferably 1 cm longer!

Determining the size of a bangle:

Maximum inside diameter of the bangle.
Tip: If you don't know your size, measure your wrist crosswise with a ruler. Make sure to look at the measurement vertically (not sideways, as it won't be accurate). Choose a size at least 5 mm larger than your wrist size, otherwise the bangle will be tight!

If you have a ring that you know the size of according to the other size definition, you can use the table below to convert it to the size we use.
A difference of a few tenths of a mm does not matter, but if the difference is close to 1 mm or more, you should always choose the larger size!
